In this course bioethics and its fundamental principles will be introduced. This includes some concepts and methods relevant to all human disciplines, ranging from logic, epistemology, and ontology to general ethics.

• HW01: Reflection on the seminar or on the reading of Singer's "Introduction"

01.10.2024 Philosophy I: History ("Ideas have consequences")

• HW02: Reflection on the seminar, or an example of some philosophical view that is influential in your opinion.

08.10.2024 Philosophy II: Logic

• HW03: Reflection on the meeting, or find a introductory philosophy/logic BOOK in the library or online (but not wikipedia or article); spend 30 or so minutes browsing/readind and write down your impressions.

15.10.2024 Philosophy III: Epistemology

• HW04: Reflection on the meeting; or write FIRST few sentences of what you think about the relibiality and objectivity of human knowledg, can we know the truth? THEN you may find a source (can be youtube or wikipedia) and see whether it deepens or changes your view on the question

Grading
